Healthy Meals by Chef Pattie

As nutrition is a foundation of the Your Daily Dose Programs, we take recommending the right food seriously. We decided to team up with domain experts in delicious food - Chef Pattie Poniente!

Pattie took up culinary as second course back in 2009 at the French Culinary Institute in SOHO, New York and is a certified French Chef de Cuisine. After graduating from culinary school, she worked under Iron Chef Morimoto, which added up training with French -Japanese cuisine under her belt. Although Pattie no longer practices in a professional kitchen setting, she definitely practices her cooking ensemble daily at home - 90% of her family’s meals are home cooked! Chef Pattie’s philosophy behind her cooking is “Balance,” which is why we see her recipes fit with the program.

“I would say I cook healthy food meals 70% of the time but do allow myself and my family to enjoy a rich indulgent meal on other days. Cooking healthy doesn’t have to be complicated, I love using ingredients that I get straight from the market.”

While good nutrition is a staple at Pattie’s daily life, her fitness is also on point! Pattie is also a yoga + barr3 instructor for the last 8 years. She created her own class called “Movement” (combination of yoga, barre and pilates) and teaches thrice a week. We welcome Chef Pattie to our community of like minded individuals!
